I’m Derek 22, going to school at North Dakota State University for construction management (graduating in December). I’m originally from Mora, Minnesota. I’ve been interested in cars all my life since I’ve been exposed to them ever since I was born (dad’s ’67 Chevelle SS only got seatbelts to hold my twin brother’s and my car seats).
I just acquired my 72 Nova. It’s seemingly an original car, and will be getting extensive body work in the next year. It has a stock 2bbl 350 engine mated to a TH350, has the upgraded rear suspension, and most of the optional exterior trim. It has a blue bench interior that is in pretty good shape, but will be hopefully changed to a black interior soon. The car joins 5 other classic Chevy’s at home, and will hopefully be built reliable enough to be driven daily every once in a while.
I’m hoping the car can make it to Car Craft and some other shows starting towards the end of this summer or by summer 2013, but that all depends on how much work can get done to it.
Thanks,
Derek Mathison
