Cool Cruise VI was held on Saturday, April 19th in Laverne, California.  It was a typical Southern California day.  The weather was great and the mix of cars were incredible.
This show was put on by LD Johnson with full support of his staff, his Mayor, business owners, and a lot of volunteers.  The setting for the show is perfect a great small California town with tree lined streets, great food, and some of the best cars in Southern California.  This show has grown each year and it is now recognized as a must attend to the street rodding community.  No car show would be complete without a rock and roll band.  The music was supplied by The Answer, a top California Classic Rock band, they kept toes tapping and hands clapping the entire day.  On behalf of the people who attended the show we would just like to say thanks to LD and the town of Laverne for allowing us to do what we live for, showing what we have created not only for ourselves but for others to enjoy.  Whether in progress, street rodded, classic, muscle, or customized they all are works of art.  Lastly this year the show featured a parade of power.  These high horsepower machines thundered down the main street and really set the tone for the day.  Have fun and enjoy the cars that participated.  Gil Palmer
