Hi All
The 9th Annual Muckenthaler Motor Car Festival was held May 10-18.  The last 2-days of the festival has two separate car shows.  On Saturday, May 17th it was hot rods and customs, and on Sunday it was a Concours d' Elegance show.  The Muckenthaler Cultural Center is located in Fullerton, CA.  This Grand Estate was donated to the city of Fullerton in 1965.  Since then dedicated volunteers have donated thousands of hours to expand the center which even has an outdoor theater.  A quick tour of the facility found a very impressive art exhibit by some very talented young people.  The honorary Chairman was Boyd Coddington the well respected street rod builder also in attendance was Barry Meguiar the President of Meguiar's car care products.  The setting was great over 8.5 acres of grass held some of the best cars in Southern California.  The Auto Club of Southern California was a major sponsor of the event and brought several of their collectable vehicles to the event.  Their tent was busy all day with members saying hello and new people joining.  The show is getting bigger every year, it is on its way to becoming one of the premier shows of the year.  Now for your viewing pleasure.  Enjoy...Gil.
