We just got back from the Bluegrass Auto Expo held at the London Optomist Club Sports Complex in London, KY., and believe you me it was a terrific Show. The rains finally stopped on Friday, the sun came out and the weather was great Saturday and Sunday. This is really a great show and if you have not been there I highly recommend that you mark your calendar for next years event. This show has lots of vendors and concession booths as well as lots of activities and games for the entire family. An auction for collector cars was held on Saturday with probably 50 or more street rods, customs, muscle cars, etc., being offered up for auction. We had a great time. The Club gave away 1,500 dollars in prize money for the top 5 cars in People’s Choice voting as well as a ton of trophies and plaques. And speaking of awards, the coveted Minnie’s Pick Award was bestowed upon Roger Bowling for his beautiful ‘67 Chevelle SS, and as usual I have to agree with Minnie’s choice, the car was worthy of such an award (even if it wasn’t I would have to say it was or else she would abuse me when we got home, oh well, I guess that’s life in the fast lane). Seriously, this is a “must attend event” mark it on your calendar now for next year. For all our great friends, we will be at the GoodGuys Show in Indy next weekend, so look us up, until then, Keep Kroozin. Jack!!!
