Hi All I drove out to Brizio Street Rods (south San Fransisco) in my roadster, for his annual open house. It was great! Cool cars, nice people, and free food. Roy knows hot rods and hes really good to the people in our hobby. The black roadster named my roadster is my car. The purple 32 with flames belongs to Roys father (Rodfather), that car had 97,000 miles on it! The Willys that is under construction belongs to the baseball great Reggie Jackson of the New York Yankees. Roy also built the red 32 with fenders for Rod & Custom Magazines 50th Anniversary. The baby blue 32 was built for the musician Eric Clapton. I didnt get a picture, but GoodGuy Gary Meadors drove by in his yellow track roadster. However, he was way late and I dont know if he ever got parking. The Slingshot Dragster (mounted on the wall) is the Champion Speed Shop Rail. It beat Big Daddy Don Garlits when Big Daddy came to the west coast during the 60s. Theres a picture on the wall, below the dragster, of the actual race and defeat of Big Daddy. Other than that the place was packed with nice people and cool cars. The shop was very clean and organized. Roy Brizio took care of everybody, he really is a great guy!!!
