GoodGuys President Gary Meadors presented Jeanette Ladina of Flaming River Industries with the 2004 GoodGuys Woman of the Year award. Jeanette Ladina graciously accepted the award, a specially designed painting by renowned hot rod artist Bob McCoy, at a special reception for event sponsors and industry executives held Thur night, Aug 26, to kick off the event.
The GoodGuys Woman of the Year award is presented annually in honor of the late Karren Bloechl (who was instrumental in the formative years of the GoodGuys Rod & Custom Association) and recognizes a female industry executive who serves to preserve the integrity and growth of the hot rodding industry. Ladina is the perfect choice. As President & CEO of Flaming River Industries, Ladina has developed and manufactures a high quality line of street rod steering components, engine parts, and front end components as well. She’s quick to point out that all of Flaming Rivers products are manufactured in America in the company’s roomy complex in Berea, Ohio.
