Hey Guys & Gals
The Indy Good Guys 2004 Show is now history and you know the thing that bugs me most about it is my name wasnt drawn as a qualifier for the drawing on any of the super cars they were giving away, anyone else have that gripe??  What I want to know is whats up with that, I just knew my name was gonna be drawn. I think that guy whom I gave the 10 dollar bribe to just took my money and left town.  Anyway back to a more serious note, we had a great time even though it was a repeat of last year as far as the weather is concerned.  Lots of liquid sunshine but my cars have seen lots of rain and mud before but that dont mean I enjoy having to clean them back up. If Minnie decides to go on strike Ill really be in trouble. We still had a great time visiting with all our friends and we made a lot of new ones, thats what we enjoy most about the shows.  I talked with old friend Johnny Cates of Mo and Curley Rod Shop, he has a lot of new and interesting things on tap for the summer.  Watch for a new series of How TO Rod Building shows to be aired on ESPN later this year and also a lot of new Creations will be emerging from his shop later in the season. I have seen a lot of the works in progress already and I was impressed. Speaking of impressed, Minnie, after much deliberation, finally arrived at a Minnies Pick, believe me with so many outstanding cars to choose from, it was no small task.  Now, Maestro, drum roll please, Im pleased to announce that the winner of the coveted Minnies Pick Award is Austin Parker, Oxford, Ohio, with his super low, super slick, Black with Flames 40 Ford Pickup. Now, I want to let everyone know that Minnie and myself will be in Bowling Green, KY., this coming weekend at the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion.  We will be driving the Red 32 3-Window and we invite everyone to stop by and chat for a spell.  Also, I met one of HRHL long time Roving Reporters, the one and only Ray Schuler, it was a real treat.  Be sure to check out Rays show coverage also, he always does a great job of reporting. Now with having said all that Im sure you are getting pretty bored and would like to see some car pics.  See yall in Bowling Green.  Jack!!!
