Hi All
Just got back from the ‘35th Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals’..... the ‘BIGGIE of all EVENTS’!... What else can I say but ‘WOW’... over 11,350 registered rides on the Fairgrounds. This event seems to bring out more and more of the best... looks like Willys, Rat Rods, BarnFresh & Trucks were on the top of the menu for 2004.... Seems like every time you turn you see something that hot... and a hot one goes by. I was impressed with the amount of vendors that crammed Freedom Hall and the swap meet is still jammed with everything you need. A big crowd favorite was Troy Trepanier’s ‘TREPANOSTALGIA’ ‘32 Ford Roadster... this car was just AWESOME... the detail was perfect, Boyds ‘7 Day Wonder Rods’ and group of the ‘GREAT 8 Finalist from the 2004 Riddler’ just to name a few of the pros.
The weather was the best ever... high in the 70’s & 80’s during the day and 60’s at nite... Saturday was a big hit for all the spectators seeing the best of the best on a great day... I had the opportunity to meet Jack & Minnie Roberts and Butch & Darren Pate, but never found Cat Meredith or Ray Schuler...
