We ventured out from Whitby to the Annual Roadmates Dog & Corn Roast. Once again on the menu we had genuine Canadian Road Kill turned into hot dogs. This was from the QEW Hwy, heavily traveled and made the item very tenderized. Managed to wolf down a couple with no ill effects, so far!!!
The Roadmates have been a club since 1956 in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, and will be celebrating their 50th as a club in 2006. A nice selection of cars had turned up on the Roadmates grounds by 1:30pm and we shot 158 pics of the nicest ones for your viewing pleasure. Derek ‘Duke’ Brown a well known street rod building shop gave me the tour of their clubhouse and his shop. Duke is the president of the Roadmates. So, it’s time to get on with the show!!! .......
