Hot Rodders just dont get the credit they deserve for their efforts to help charities. On July 30th, The 3rd Annual Samuels Jewelers Car Show to benefit the Jewelers For Children charity was held near Austin, Texas in Dripping Springs, Texas. If this name rings a bell with you, its because Dripping Springs was the site of the first Willie Nelson 4th Of July Picnic 30+ years ago, a tradition that is still going. This years show had a good turnout of hot rods, customs, muscle cars, and classics. It also featured some of the finest door prizes ever seen at a car show, such as gold jewelery, watches, airline tickets and such. The indoor area quickly filled up and the outdoor area grew to the size of many respectable shows itself. There was also live music, good food and the Hooters Girls! A good time was had by all.
