The Ol� Maris River Run is put on by the Over the Road Gang in Ottawa Ks. It is held in a large well shaded park,Forest Park. The Victorian down town square is closed on sat for a cruise.  The number of spectators is mind boggling.   This year the total car count was over 1,250. They gave away 2 crate engines ,2 transmissions, plasma cutters, welders tires and lots more. There are about 40 various awards.   They use the 72 and older format so they are spread around between all types of cars. The highest awards are the Top Five Pro Picks.  I am happy to say the Blummer 37 Ford built by South Town Street Rods received one.  There is every type car you can think of at the show.    Regards.....
