July 4th Rollin Nostalgia
Pittsburg, KS

We were summoned to Pittsburg, Kansas by a friend, needed Hubby's help getting Earth Angel ready for the Lead Sled Spectacular later this month. While we were there we entered my Mama Said in the July 4th show put on by the Local car club Rollin Nostalgia, where our friend was working the show. This isn't the first time we have gone to this show, but it was the First show there for my Regal. There were a total of 127 cars that showed up for this small show, but the cars that did come were really nice ones. Not many customs this year, mainly street rods and originals, but a fine assembly. The day started off a bit cool and damp (a lot of storms thru the night), but by 10:00AM, here they came, and I was wowed!!! This show draws a lot of locals, and my favorite was a yellow 63/64 (?) Falcon, fell in love with it when I saw it drive in. It didn't win best of show (the only award of the day), but none the less, it was MY choice.
The neatest thing about this show was the PICTURE of your car on a wooden plaque!!!! Every entrant got one!!!! When you paid your entry fee, you were instructed where to take your car, A picture was taken of it, and a couple of hours later, all you had to do was go to the Registration desk and pick of your photo.
We are going back next year!!!! GREAT SHOW!!! GREAT PEOPLE (besides our friend of course)!!!
GOOD FOOD AT REASONABLE PRICES (
I hope everyone's 4th was as eye popping as the one we went to.    Carrie Rahm
