The Twin City Idlers of Stanwood Washington and the city of Stanwood presented the 3rd Annual Stanwood Show and Shine and they did it in style! Standing at one end of the main street of town and looking as far as the eye could see, there was nothing but cars and trucks and more cars and trucks! The count was over 500 hundred rides this year and included some of the finest machinery on the planet.
The merchants and club members of Stanwood made us welcome right off the bat, greeting us as we drove in at 7AM! The streets filled quickly and the folks coming to see the spectacle were in the thousands.  There were food vendors, parts vendors, toy vendors and clothing vendors all having their wares available throughout the day.  The Twin City Idlers had a display of their club cars at the high school and next door the Lion�s Club had their display of steam, gas engines and tractors.  Something for everyone! A great day was had by all and with the participants receiving dash plaques, 50/50 draw, raffles and trophies it was a complete and well run event.  Thanks to the Twin City Idlers for a super time. Check this one out next year!
