July 23 marked the third Annual Crooz & Schmooz Charity Car Show, and it was a great success! Held on the beautiful and Historic grounds of Temple Beth El, the show continues to better itself in attendance, entry diversity and as a worthy fundraiser. This years charity was kids Kicking Cancer and our guest judge was Mark Phelan, Auto Columnist for the Detroit Free Press Newspaper. Mark arrived driving (Albeit not his) a new BMW M6 coupe. Because this was the closet that I will be getting to that $106k car, I included it with these car show pics. The weather was perfect and the sponsors were generous, raffle prizes were numerous, food was served, and beautiful glass trophies were awarded in eight categories. The winning entries; G. Mark, B. Steinhaus, I. Fishmam, T. Meyer, G. Szymanski, F & D Pascoe, O. Dube, G. Weiner, L. Meinart, D. Paulisin and K & J Borgman. Two other winners, Kareem and Dontrell, both young men representing a growing number of kids who have successfully kicked cancer and in this case have gone on to win school sports honors. The car show closed with a flame throwing exhaust demonstration.
