This years Summer Fun Run was a resounding success. There were 196 participants this time, and with the perfect sunny day, a huge number of spectators as well. The event began Friday evening with a corn on the cob feed and early chance to register. By Saturday morning the field was quickly filled with every style and type of car you could wish for, from T-buckets to modern Corvettes. Several very unique cars were on display including a 1939 Buick Limited, original in every aspect and a very rare 1947 Chevrolet Aero Sedan, a 1932 Rockne Sedan and a Willys Aero Car. Saturday evening featured the salmon BBQ, always delicious, and a cruise to Boomers Drive-In downtown Bellingham, WA. The awards presentation took place Sunday morning and afterwards goodbyes were said until we meet again. All in all, a wonderful weekend in Whatcom County. Thanks to the 4th Corner Elites for their hard work and hospitality. Brian Curtis
