The ESRA-Nats 2006 were held by the German-Street-Rod-Association at the Jagdtschloss Windhof in Weilburg, Germany, about 40 minutes outside of Frankfurt Germany. The Castle was build in the year 1714 . The Castle-Fairgrounds was the perfect location for a pre 49 Street Rod Event. The GSRA got lots of support from the City of Weilburg and the Crew from Windhof Castle. Both helped to make this Rod Nats a big success. Only pre 1949 Hot Rods could cruise in to the Castle Infield. A special parking area for US Cars, Customs and Harleys was on the side. Participants paid € 35.- entrance fee for the whole weekend . That included free drinks and snacks on Thursdays welcome party (... to much for some..) , a free event. T-Shirt, free dinner and two live bands were on Saturday. The Friday afternoon cruising into old town Weilburg was lots of fun for Rodders and Spectators. On Saturday there was a Rod Run. Some got lost...Street Rodders from Germany, England, Sweden, Holland, Belgien, Norway, France, Hungria, Denmark, Swiss, Austria showed up with their cool Rides. The German Street Rod Association Event-Crew had a very stressful weekend, so thanks to them. They did a great job ! The next European Street Rod Nats will be held in CAEN, France in July 2007. Maybe see you there .......
