This summer my son came out to visit for a few weeks. While he was here he said he wanted to clean up the old garage and get the cars in some kind of order. You see my son is a neat freak and likes things in order and in there place. Reluctantly I agreed, it took me many years to create this mess and now he wants to make sense of it all. We spent many days and many nights of pulling cars in and out, but in the long run it was well worth it. Here are some pictures of the aftermath.. OK OK you got me. It was only a dream. Hay you cant blame a guy for dreaming. The pictures are of the Nethercutt Collection here in Sylmar , California. My son Nick and I went there and let me tell you it was a dream come true. Every car is set up to drive. Each car is gassed up, keys in the ignition, fresh oil and the batteries are charged. The lady there told us that each car in the collection is driven at least once a year and everything in the collection is in working order. If you have never been there its worth the trip. And did I tell you its free, thats right, it cost nothing, nada, no buckaroos at all. And its well worth it. Heres a link to there home page for more information. http://www.nethercuttcollection.org/index2.html
