Here are some pics from the Route 66 Rendezvous held in San Bernardino. This year the weather was perfect, not as hot as years past. It was around 75 degrees most of the day Saturday. The open header contest was very cool with many cars and trucks cruisn the blocked off city streets. Mike Coffey, from Hemet Ca., won the open header contest with his orange Big Block Mopar powered Jeep. It sounded great just cruising around and very strong and loud when he hit the throttle. He won a new 350 Chevy engine for the show that he put on, congrats Mike!!!!! We walked around all day taking pictures and talking to some cool people with very cool cars. We hung around till 10 pm watching the cars cruise into the night. What a great show and cruise. If you are ever in the area in September it is worth it to check it out. Ron Podsiadly
