"One of the great things about most Car Shows is that they usually benefit one charity or another. The Texas Classic Car Show at Rudy's Bar-B-Q is no exception. In the past 4 years over $74,000 has been raised for the Make A Wish Foundation of Central Texas by this, one of Austin's favorite car shows. The main focus of this show is restored classics, but the hot rod and muscle car guys show up in force! There were around 100 cars for your viewing pleasure and there was no lack of spectators to view them. The heavily overcast skies didn't scare anyone away, either entrants or spectators! This year the awards given out to the winning cars were Director's Chairs with the category hand painted on them. The Donut Gang of Austin also gave out the Donut Gang Top Pick Award. This show just continues to get more popular every year."
