The 34th Annual Whatcom County Mini Meet was a complete success. We enjoyed a perfect day with 68 participants, sunshine, corn on the cob and hot dogs. Sponsored by the Whatcom County Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club, this gathering in Hovander Homestead Park, Ferndale, WA., has been the almost end of the season gathering for the 4th corner for all these years, attracting folks from as far away as Seattle to the South and the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. There was a good representation of the studebaker marque from the 1930s, with many Antique Studebaker Club members driving in, to the last of the run in 1966 as well as six Avantis including the 2001 version. A long line of Studebaker trucks represented the work force involvement that Studebaker had built post WW2. Our non-Studebaker classes were filled with a great group of cars and trucks as varied as seen at any event on a sunny Sunday! Thanks for coming! We love your company! Brian Curtis
