Billed as the “Worlds least important car show” and continuing to increase in size. This rat rod venue is outstanding. Catering to the chopped down, hopped up hot rods, kustoms, jalopies, choppers and sleds. Featuring live (loud) bands, swap meet, burnout contest, and figure eight racing this show is limited to pre 1965 cars, trucks and motorcycles. The show actually bans billet clad fluff and trailer queens, although I found one! The show is hosted by Poor Boys of Detroit and Pecker Heads Car Clubs. Walking through the gravel show areas while viewing and listening to the cars as they rumbled by, reminded me of being in a drag strip pit area in the 1960’s.
