The 4th of July is celebrated in a big way in Blaine, WA., situated on the border between Canada and the USA. With a huge street fair, vendors, parade and of course the car show, there’s plenty of activities for everyone. The downtown streets are closed to traffic and become host to the special cars and trucks entered in the show and shine. This year there were 162 entries on this sunny, warm day. The local merchants and dignitaries choose the winners of the trophies, a difficult task when there are so many beautiful rides from both sides of the 49th parallel. |
