"In Texas, spring means Bluebonnets....especially when it's been a nice wet spring like this one. Each year in Burnet they hold the Annual Bluebonnet Festival which includes a Car Show in the park.

A cold front hit the area on Friday, and by Saturday morning temperatures were in the thirties and forties, but it didn't stop the Gear Heads from showing up!
This show is put on by the area Chamber of Commerce and is a "no entry fee" show. Plus they pass out a nice "goody bag" to all who show up.

The beautiful country side around Burnet makes the ride worth it, and meeting up with old friends at the show just sweetens the pot! This year, the Donut Gang was invited out to local rodder and former mayor Bill Wilcox's hacienda for some pizza and fellowship after the show. Bill is not only a long time area car guy, but is a never ending source of jokes and laughs. Thanks for your hospitality Bill."
