With a heat index way over 100, a great amount of cars and spectators filled the streets of Spring Valley, Illinois Fire Dept Annual Cruisin The Valley Fund Raiser For equipment, Helping Us help You! O, of course it is summer! Lots of good food and find restaurants on the main street also led to a good time. A large 50/50 and eight large trophies where given out by the different city departments. Fire Chief Gene Scheri drove up to the cruise in the Fire Departments Classic 1931 Fire Truck. The night was topped off with a free concert paid for by the city. The Legendary “Mickey and the Memories” performed to a large crowd on a warm night. Enjoy
