Hey Gang, every Thursday evening the Clay County Cruisers have a Cruise- In at Lees Famous Recipe Chicken in Manchester, Ky. Minnie and I are almost always there. There is always a good turnout of cars as well as spectators, and everyone has a great time. The Clay County Cruisers as well as Minnie and myself would like to invite everyone to come and join the fun with us. Now enjoy the pics which I took for you. Also you might notice I took several pics of my friends, Mitch Allen(Hugger Orange) and Buster Hoskins(Red) and my(Blue) 1969 Camaros. All three 69 Camaros, three totally different ideas on how to hotrod them. I found this interesting, simply because, in my opinion, the key to hotrodding is to build your car the way you like it, not the way someone else likes it. After all it’s your money and you are the one that drives it, so why not make it what you like. Anyway, I thought this to be interesting. My 69 Z28/RS has an 871 Blown big block Chevy and is Pro Streeted. Mitchell's 69 Z28/RS was built to drag race in the 1/8 mile. It sports a Big Block Chevy, tunnel Ram, wheelie bars and chute while Busters 69 SS features a 350 small block turbo 350 mild custom. Three versions of the same car, three different ideas of what’s cool, and you know what? They are all winners! Just goes to show you " Different Strokes for Different Folks" to me that's what makes it so great. If everyone liked the same things- well it would get pretty boring.
