The 23rd Annual Leprechan Daze Show and Shine, hosted by the 4th Corner Elites of Bellingham was considered a great success after the wet spring weather turned to warm sunshine on Sunday March 25th.
The car show had been held on the streets of Fairhaven until this year when it was switched to Railroad Ave in Bellingham.
Saturday evenings’ cruise to Boomers Drive-in on Samish Way was not as heavily attended as the rains persisted, but 67 vehicles were registered and shown on the street Sunday.
The new venue was very popular with the spectators and proved to be advantageous to the merchants of the downtown area. There were many new cars shown, fresh winter projects proudly shown off by their owners who traveled from as far as Puyallup, WA. from the south and Mission, B.C. to the north.
