This event had to be the coup de gras for the year so far in our area. Pete Smith, owner of the family owned heavy equipment parts company and his hunting friends put on a feed bag the likes of which most of us had not ever seen. Just about every wild game delicacy in these parts expertly prepared and barbecued or cooked to perfection. And the bar was open for just about anything one could desire. The weather was excellent and about 60 invitees brought their hot rods and classic cars to the festivities. And just incase anyone wonders, YES, we all overate big time! |
