Hi Everyone........Here’s some pics from the Rhode Island Street Rodding Association Thursday Nite Cruize, located at the TGI Fridays Restaurant in Warwick, Rhode Island. This weekly cruise attracts around 100 cars, everything from Rods, Stocks, Kustoms, and Antiques. There are many giveaways each week. 4 awards each week for 25 dollar food certificates at TGI Fridays plus 6 certificates for appetizers. Many other prizes each week are given to car owners in attendance. This cruise is held every Thursday from May through October with more cars in attendance each week. This club was formed in 1973 by a group of hot rodders, some of them are still in the club today. The club puts on two other events each year, one on Memorial day which benefits the Johnston R.I. little league association. The other is a Toys for Tots Fun Run held on the Sunday of Columbus day weekend. There are usually about anywhere from 250 to 300 cars attending these events. Cars come from Massachusetts and Connecticut to attend these events. The club has monthly meetings on the second Friday of the month. There are 40 members in this club. All of the members own 1948 and down Street Rods. Some also owning newer hot rods.... I hope you NJoy the pics!!! Big Al!!!
