Somernites Cruise Presented it's second annual Powercruise Saturday July 28, 2007. Yet again they pulled off one outrageous event with a record breaking crowd of nearly 1900 vehicles. For the Cruise going up from Knoxville, Tenn. there was around 100 cars started out of an expected 250 which considering the very nasty weather that the area was having up until about 1 hour before scheduled to pull out that was a good turn out. As you can see from the first photo many toughed out the off and on rain for the cruise and hoped for the best. As the cruise neared its destination the clouds subsided and out came the sun for an excellent day. Please enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the day.
