Saturday night races just like it used to be “back in the day”. This was the second All American Vintage Classic Car Races held at the All American Speedway in Roseville, Ca. This years event featured legendary race cars from the past, such as Offenhausers, bored-out Chevys, flat head Fords, Chrysler Spitfires and Daimlers. Five classes were represented, including supermodifieds, roadsters, hardtops, midgets, and sprint cars. There also were plenty of drivers on hand with name recognition. Former racing stars such as Al Pombo, Wally Baker, Wayne Sue, Walt James, Hashbrown and Leroy Vanconett made brief appearances. Bob Choisser |
