The 1941 Lincoln Contin ental given to Rita Hayworth by Orson Welles. Welles and Hayworth were both married to other spouses at the time when the gift was given.

We noticed the General George S. Patton Jeep and the displays around it, including a set of his pearl handled revolvers, were in the Ford room? Not all the Jeeps where made by Willys!!

This ’36 Plymouth Phaeton was never sold in the USA. Built by Chrysler as left hand drive and exported as a display model. It was awarded the very prestigious Meadow Brook Concourse D’ Elegance award for Excellence.

This 1955 Chrysler 300C Hardtop was owned by Tim Flock, the 1955 NASCAR Champion. The car was raced in only one actual race.

In 1937 Chrysler did produce a sedan in this color, but a 2 door convertible in this yellow has never been seen!!

The Woody’s room: We saw Steve McQueen’s 1947 Ford Woodie.

Jackie Gleason had a 1953 Hemi engine installed in his 1950 Chrysler Town & Country Woodie.

An outstanding car was this 1941 Chrysler Royal Town & Country 9 passenger “Barrel Back” Woodie station wagon with seats that fold down creating extra space for luggage.

The Miscellaneous room:This room contains later American models and is the only room to contain a few non-American cars. The back wall has a large selection of original gas pumps with original globes.

This ’57 Chevrolet Nomad Station Wagon has the very rare factory Air Conditioning option and was given to Dina Shore when they chose to sponsor her show.

The original ’53 Sunbeam Alpine Roadster was used in the movie “To Catch a Thief” starring Cary Grant and Grace Kelley.

Hollywood actor Tom Mix’ 1927 Rolls-Royce Custom Springfield Phantom “Playboy Roadster”.

This ’67 Hurst Oldsmobile 442 W30 convertible is one of only 100 built with a yellow exterior and interior!

“RPO Z16” was the Chevrolet Div of GM designation for the “High Performance Package”, which included a 375 hp, 396 cu in V8, Dual Exhaust, Four Speed Transmission, Special Shock Package, and a 160 mph Speedometer. In 1965, 201 cars were equipped with it, this ’65 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS convertible is the only convertible know to exist with this option! Priceless!!
