Wayne and I attended the First Annual Florida Free For All car show at Don Garlits' Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala, Florida. Don Garlits thrilled the spectators by starting up one of his drag cars. He signed autographs all day long and talked with everyone. This event was sponsored by Billetproof. It was a show for those who build and DRIVE traditional style 1964 and prior rods and kustoms. There were NO trailer queens. Over 500 filled every available space. The awards are hand made by different clubs. It was a cloud covered day--but the rains held off until almost everyone headed home. Everyone had a wonderful day and we got to see many, many cars we never see.
