Roy Brizio Has a Open House, Shop Party every year the day before Mothers Day. A lot of Street Rods and Special Cars are driven to South San Francisco. The guests take over Railroad Avenue, and the other business parking lots are filled up. You get to look at cars being built from the frame up and you see cars that are almost completed on the checkerboard floor. Hot dogs, chili, garlic bread, and soft drinks are given out, so you do not go away undernourished, before the raffle that is hosted by the Jokers Car Club. Al, the ring master of the names, makes sure all ladies get a hat and T-shirt. He then might ask “who came in a roadster that does not have wing windows? When the right lady steps forward, you know she has the window prize. Everyone has a great time and you get to see a lot of old friends. We all thank Roy for letting us see how hot Street Rods are build. Dean.
