Wow, what a way to usher in the cruis’n New Year. About 150 Hot Rods and Classics braved the 30 degree weather to attend the 3rd annual New Years Cool Car Cruise-In. The event was started and hosted by Jim and Diann Fox, and supported by a cast of many. The cars were hot and the people were cold, but thanks to Suzanne and Cindy, employee’s of West Sound Bank, the hot coffee and donuts never ran out.
The Fox’s also put on a cruise Night the 1st Tuesday of every month in the same location from April through September. These people bring their rods out in the frigid cold for nothing more than gathering together and welcoming in the New Year, no trophies, no comforts of home, although I have to say that the heated Honey Bucket kept the line pretty long.
