Me and Merc Convert 33

"The Dallas Autorama at The Dallas Market Hall is the second of three annual Autoramas in Texas and makes you wish it wasn't so long until the Houston Autorama, the third in the series.  Bring it on!!

The weather, rainy and wet, didn't hold anyone back and those that came out got their money's worth, with hundreds of fine hot rods, customs, muscle cars, restorations and motorcycles, along with a great selection of vendors showing off the latest gear for your car. There was stuff for the youngsters too, from

radio controlled race cars to one of the "Toons" cars from the movie. Tri-Five Chevys seemed to be a real hot item as well as the '55-'56 Chevy pickups.

Oh yeah, did I mention the pair of young ladies that were only too happy to pose with the men folks? Of course, they had to force me!" Richard "Too Low" Haas

Kelly Clayton's '41 Ford pickup wears a dark green that makes it hard to photograph.

The beautiful instrument panel in Kelly Clayton's pickup is from a 1960 Chrysler 300.

Kelly's green '41 Ford pickup is a standout in any crowd.

14

One you don't see every day is a '38 Ford Cabriolet. This is John Wojan's machine.

15

Ropes and open hoods are the bane of photographers

I just love the '55 in Mike Weygandt's blower scoop!

24

The painted wires on Mike's 55 Pickup really set it off.

25

Another Corinth resident, Bill Stockstill, showed how they do a '53 Chevy Pickup around there.

26

I didn't get the owner info on this Chevy pickup, but the Black Cherry paint is right on the money!

The '55, '56 Chevy's were in abundance at the Autorama and Mark Eddins was a standout.

31

Mark Eddins likes a low profile to his tire/wheel setup.

32

Mark Eddins also showed off his '56 Chevy Nomad.

33

Mark Eddins is a fan of '55, '56 Chevys as evidenced by this fine Nomad.

It looks like Mark Eddins also enjoys '57 Chevys!
