Belmont Shore is near Long Beach California and is a great site for the car show as it's just a couple of blocks from the ocean. I arrived at 5:00 a.m. in the pre-dawn morning to get in line and watch the parade of cars drive by to get in line. Oh yah…forgot to mention that while waiting in line the Bay City Rodders come by and serve up donuts; how’s that for service!
The day started off cool and stayed that way until noon, at which time the overcast was cleared by a soft sea breeze and we experienced one of those “just right weather” car show days.
Over six hundred classics and hot rods were parked on the streets, side streets and local business parking lots and the heavy pedestrian traffic crowded through the town throughout the day. This is a great car show which I look forward to every year and I’ve yet to be disappointed.…..enjoy the pictures!
