Jack was determined to get to Bonneville this year even though it started while we were in Louisville for the Street Rod Nationals. Before leaving for Louisville, Jack loaded up the Hotrodhotline.com Toy Hauler and hooked it up to his Ford Truck and got it positioned in the driveway ready to go !
We arrived home from Louisville on Wed. night and Jack took off for Bonneville on Thursday morning. It's only a half days drive which meant that they would have one full day and a few hours to enjoy Speed Week.
Though many had made runs and left, there was still plenty to see and lots of excitement on the salt. This was the first year that the youngest Jack Lawford (age 5) went to Bonneville and he was plenty excited.... now he's proud to say the he has "salt in his blood" .... and we're sure that all of the Jack's will get back every chance they can.
