On Sunday, April 26th 2009, hundreds of classic cars, hot rods, trucks and a sprinkling of motorcycles descended upon Johnny Carson Park in Burbank, California for the Annual Burbank Kiwanis for Fun Car Show and Arts and Crafts Fair. The Kiwanis Club served its famous pancake breakfast, followed by burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and great French fries for lunch; also included was a bake sale.

The vehicle owners and the public enjoyed great weather, good food and the excellent music provided by a band called “The Usual Suspects”. Throughout the day items were auctioned off and the show was concluded with the awards presentation. The awards were based on votes cast by those who entered a vehicle in the show and there were a wide variety of entry classes. Best of all, the proceeds from this event go to charity, in keeping with the tradition of the Burbank Kiwanis for Fun Club. This is a great “no stress” car show so mark your calendar now for next years’ show.
