The Goodguys 27th. All American Get-Together was great. There must have been 3000 hot rods, custom cars, classics, trucks, muscle cars, and street machines, and a Batmobile. The George Barris custom had just been restored by Advanced Restorations in Sacramento.

 By 9 am on Saturday parking was hard to find in the large outdoor car show area. The indoor buildings were full also. My friend Derrick spent 2 1/2 hours

just in the car corral. The swap meet was full from one end to the other. Northern California car guys just wanted to be outside for the first big outdoor car show of the year.

 The weather was just right, the sun was out and it was warm, the rain from last weekend was gone.

 Ted Stevens won West Coast Custom of the year with a 40 Merc that John D'Agostino built in 86 and Roy Brizio just finished restoring. It has the yellow and black license plate that reads Kustom.  Dean
