Car shows are held in many different places, such as parking lots, football fields, parks, fairgrounds and indoor auditoriums. Well, today I went to a car show in a hanger on a closed Navy Base. Lots of room, no problem parking, and just big.
Madjacks Productions rented a hanger. They had Bands, Food, and Vendors. There was lots of room for lawn chairs, blankets on the floor ( looked like a picnic ) and a place for friends to hang out. The sun was very bright outside, but no need for sunblock inside, also no wind to blow umbrellas down.
The show was a nice mix of a lot of different cars. Some cars I had seen before, others were new to me. The car guys were friendly and happy. The 4th is a strange date to try a car show because so many people go to parades, and other celebrations on a holiday, but this was a afternoon event held after other morning events were over. I don't know if another event will be here again. I will just have to wait and see. Dean
