Dale & Paulette Satterlee

On Saturday May 9th Paulette and I along with some friends made a Ky.-Tenn. road trip to end up at a night time cruise-in. We left town at 8 AM for breakfest at a local Cracker-Barrel by I-24 in Trigg County. Our first main stop was the Golden Pond Planetarium in the Land between the Lakes National Recreation Area. This is in Caldwell County. Ky.

After about 1 hour we traveled to Stewart Co.,Tennessee to visit the Home place. this is a

1850s live-working Farm. The people live and work there just as they did in the 1850s.

About noon we traveled back to the Kentucky area to go to the Woodlands Nature Station. This a place where hurt or orphaned animals are raised and let go if possible. We saw Coyote, Bobcat, Deer, Owls, Eagles, Red Wolf, and yes there was a snake area. Before entering the station we broke for a picnic lunch.

We got back to Trigg Co.,Ky about 6 PM. In time for the cruise-in put on by the Cadiz Cruiser's in the town of Cadiz,Ky We all had a wonderful time.---Enjoy the pictures--Dale Satterlee---Roving reporter--Western Kentucky
