40th Annual All Fords Show
La Palma Park, CA

If your into early original Henry Ford steel, this is your show. This was it’s 40th year and the weather was clear and in the 70’s. Some of the classic Fords were restored beautifully, others are referred to as Street Rods. The classics tend to end in ’53 with the last of the flathead engines.

La Palma Park was a very comfortable place, with lots of grass to park the cars on and concrete paths for the spectators to walk on. The Bake Sale, Raffle, coffee & rolls were a big hit. A live DJ provided music all day. Spectators began to crowd the park by 9:00 to check out the 180+ cars on display.

Thanks for the Show!

A group of classic restored ’34 Fords gather around a restored ’34 Ford Flathead engine. I’ve never seen so many unchopped ’34 Coupes!!

Tom & Sandee Knowles brought their 351 Ford powered, shifted through a top loader, Ford 4 speed, ’41 Ford Business Coupe from La Verne, CA. What is that Ford rubber boot over the distributor?

A long way from “original” this low, flamed ’36 Ford Sedan Delivery sports a ZZ383 Chevy motor. Owner Ken Butler drove in from Camarillo, CA. this morning.

Steve Dennish & his daughter arrive fashionably late from Whittier, CA. in his nice Deuce Roadster. The unique artillery wheels lead to the bizarre 4.5L Daimler engine! Then all the subtle modifications become visible. The cut down “Banjo” steering wheel, 3 pedals on the floor, faux ash trays on the dash and the cool headlight buckets.
