Martinez Calif. was hot May 17th. The weather was hotter than it has been ( it was 85 degrees at 10am ) and the cars and people showed up for the 3rd. Annual car show. The first 200 cars got a goody bag, T-shirt, and dash plaque.
All cars and trucks were welcome. Admission was free to spectators so people came and went all day.
They had a 50/50 drawing and a raffle with some nice prizes. The cars filled up around the tire store and flowed over to the carpenters union parking lot. Some people got welcome shade from the trees.
They had two bands, Johnny Nitro was the kick off group. This show gets a little bigger each year and still has room to grow.
