Saturday, November 7 was just another beautiful day in South Carolina. It was also the scene of the 9th annual open house at Mason's Hot Rods and Parts, hosted by Alan and Jerry Mason and their staff. Over 200 vehicles spent at least part of the day enjoying the great cars, good food and entertainment. The DJ played tunes and handed out door prizes all day long.

The admission to this event was a new unwrapped toy for a

child. The generosity of the participants was again displayed by filling the back of a real nice 57 Ford Ranch Wagon and an equally nice 58 Edsel Wagon. There was a volunteer crew that provided a bar-b-que lunch for over 400 hundred people; free to those who had a registered vehicle on the grounds.

The Mason's are known for their fine collection of Fords including several of each 1939-40's, 1956-57's, 1960-64's (which by the way are all big block cars including a 63 light-weight and a 64 Thunderbolt. They are also into the 1964, 5 and 6 Mustangs. Our thanks go out to Alan and Jerry and all their volunteers and sponsors who made this show possible.
