NorthWest MotorFest July 4th 2009 Boise, Idaho
July 4th is a great day for a car show in Boise, Idaho .... and the NorthWest MotorFest was the perfect show to be at this year. Local Oldies D.J. Big Jack Armstrong, is not only a great guy but he puts on a fantastic party in the NorthWest Motorfest. The weather was HOT.... just the way we like it in July ... and the turnout couldn’t have been better. Tons of cars ..... and people everywhere. Big Jack had tons of activities lined up ..... from HoleShot competition to Celebrity appearances, to chain saw demos, to off road Rock Crawlers .... something for everyone and great fun for all.
Henry Winkler “ The Fonz” and Donnie Most “Ralph Mouth” as well as Paul Petersen from the Donna Reed show, were on hand to meet and greet the folks at the show. They hand out our Hotrodhotline bags and flyers when they are on tour and we had gotten a call that they were about out and needed us to bring by more. Jack stopped for a photo op with them but after we got the pic with the Fonz, Paul Petersen had stepped out of the booth and we couldn’t catch up with him.... we’ll get him next time. Paul went to the same High School as Mary Ann in the San Fernando Valley .... North Hollywood High then Mary Ann went on to Van Nuys High ....the birthplace of American Graffiti ! Those were the days ! Paul Petersen is now involved in very important work to protect child actors and performers.
