October 3rd started out as a beautiful fall morning. Westchester Street Rodder Harold Thompson and a few of his buddies made their way up the mountain to Lake Lure, North Carolina. We drove thru a bit of fog during the 40+ mile ride but it didn't take long for the sun to break out.

The visitors center in Lake Lure was the site for the Vintage Tin Street Rods 12th annual Antique, Classic and Street Rod show. This is a very nice facility on the shore of the lake.
 

Coffee and pastry were available on arrival and the VTSRA were the perfect hosts all day long. This event is a fund raiser with the profits going to The Shriners Children’s Hospital.

Over 200 cars attended this one day event. A nicer day could not be had. I hope you enjoy looking at some of the cars in attendance. Harold Thompson, Taylors, SC
