The Queenscliff Rod Run was held over the weekend off 5, 6, and 7th of Feb with Friday night being a meet and greet night with drinks and BBQ for entrants at the Queenscliff Caravan Park.
Saturday saw breakfast at the caravan park before getting together for a cruise to Adventure Park where lunch was served and the kids and even the adults could go on the parks many water rides and slides.
This year the Geelong Street Rodders added a mystery cruise which ended up at the Dogs Rocks Pub where we were given lunch before a return trip via wineries for some taste testing.
Saturday night, because we did not have use of the hall as it was being renovated, we had a band over the road from the caravan park at the Royal Hotel.
This year for the second time we had cruising in the main street of Queenscliff which went off really well again with people setting up chairs on the side of the road to watch all the rods cruise by.
Sunday saw breakfast and our show and shine in Princess Park with Port Phillip Bay in the backgrond and the band playing. The weather was perfect for the thousands of people that came down to check out the rods and customs with all gate takings going to charities around the area. 1:30 pm saw presentations and thank you's and then another successful run was over for another year. Hope you enjoy the pics of the show. Cheers, Dale.
