They had 140 cars show up on a 90 degree day in October...the $15.00 entry fee went to charity as well as the door prize raffle money. The whole town supported the show...in addition to the show, there was a BBQ contest pulling in entrants from all the surrounding states. Friday nite started off with a cruise-in at the local A & W root beer stand and a poker run around the city was held...the winner took home $135. 00, the balance was donated to charity. Saturday, the entire event was held in downtown Russell on the main street. The event is planned again for next year, if you're anywhere near Russell, Kansas, make it a point to attend this event next October.
