20th Annual Signal Hill Car Show
Signal Hill, CA
8-1-10
Story & Photos by: Roger Rohrdanz

rogerrohrdanz   The Sultans Car Club of Long Beach, CA. have been around for about 45 years. Today the club is still going strong with near 40 members. This is the 19th year of their car show and it has always been held on the grass at beautiful Signal Hill Park.  The weather started cool and overcast and that soon turned to sunshine. The old, well maintained trees provided shade for over 200 pre-’75 cars. The best thing about this show is the diverse styles of cars, Classics, Lowriders, Street Rods, Customs, and Hot Rods. Even a British Riley showed up?
The live music was provided by "Sultan" Johnny Rocket & the V-Twins. A nice selection of 20 or so interesting vendors booths lined the parking lot. The event also had a raffle, 50/50, and a great BBQ. The "special" awards included some that were handmade.

Thanks for the Show
