The morning was a little on the cool side, as the hot rods started arriving. Richard’s Garage in Long Beach was the starting point for the Early Times Mid-Winter Rod Run & Garage Tour. The Rod Run has been going on for 41 years. Over the years, the Garage Tour & Poker Run have been added to make this a very entertaining event. The Early Times Car Club organizes the Run but anyone can participate. The rain yesterday kept some rodders away today, as only about 60 cars started the Run. Stops were made at Richard’s Garage, Scott’s Hot Rods & Hobbies, Price Transfer, So Cal Speed Shop, Bill McGrath’s Shop, and the final stop was Bob’s Broiler (formerly Harvey’s Broiler). The route covered 90 miles and was completed by 1:00pm. Time enough to get home to watch the Olympics.

Thanks for the Show!
